DCCC Age (Danish OncoGEriatric Network) held a two-day seminar in February focusing on geriatric tools for oncogeriatric research with participants from all Danish regions

The seminar had several inspiring lectures and discussions about proposals for national protocols and working models for the use of "Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment" (CGA) in geriatric oncology. A variety of issues were on the programme including the collection of QoL/PRO data and the use of composite endpoints for reaching an agreement on which tools to use and which basal data to collect in Denmark in relation to CGA. The agreement was to follow a recent European publication to ensure that Danish research can be compared internationally.

Going forward, the network will continue working with protocol suggestions and planning of new projects.

The next DCCC Age meeting will be a day-long follow up meeting on June 11, 2019 in Odense.

What is DCCC Age?
