Scandinavian Network of Radiobiology Researchers invites you to their annual network meeting. The meeting will be held on October 31st – November 1st 2024, at Comwell Middelfart.
The aim of the Network and the annual meetings is to further develop radiobiological research in Denmark and since 2022 also including the rest of Scandinavia, by establishing and advancing collaborations between basal and clinical research, and between biologists, physicists and clinicians. The program of the annual network meeting will be centered around the current ongoing research and interests from the participating groups.
You can present both ongoing studies, projects in the planning phase or a broader subject or relevant information for the network.
The meeting will start at 11:45 with lunch on the 31st and finish at the 1st at 12:30.
This year’s theme will be: Immune modulation in radiotherapy
Speakers:
- Inna Chen, Department of Oncology, Herlev: Clinical perspective of Radio-Immunotherapy
- Trine Tramm, Department of pathology, Aarhus: Clinical data on interaction of preexisting immune cells and radiotherapy with focus on the predictive value
- Mike Horsman, Department of Experimental Clinical Oncology, Aarhus: Combining radiation and immunotherapy
- Martin Roelsgaard Jakobsen, Aarhus University: Molecular immune effects following radiation
The annual meeting is meeting is open for everyone from all disciplines, and is limited to 40 participants.
The meeting is supported by funding from DCCC, which covers all costs for food and overnight stay, but not travel costs.
