The Danish Breast Cancer Group Center and Clinic for Late Effects conducts research into detecting and treating patients with late effects of breast cancer. Many women suffer from physical and mental late effects such as tiredness, sleep disturbance, pain, fear of relapse, depression and reduced movement. The purpose of the research centre is to create an overview of and to develop knowledge on mitigating measures, treatment, risk factors and relations that will be developed into procedures for identifying women in need of treatment and for ensuring that they receive the best treatment.

The center is located at Aarhus University Hospital under the management of Professor and Consultant Peer Christiansen.
