The aim of the Network and the annual meetings is to further develop radiobiological research in Denmark and since 2022 also including the rest of Scandinavia. This os done by establishing and advancing collaborations between basal and clinical research, and between biologists, physicists and clinicians. The program of the annual network meeting will be centered around the current ongoing research and interests from the participating groups.

You can present both ongoing studies, projects in the planning phase or a broader subject or relevant information for the network.

The meeting will start at 11:45 with lunch on the 13th and finish at the 14th at 12:30.

This year’s special guests:

  • Kerstin Borgmann, Hamburg DE: Importance of DNA repair defect and replication stress for intracellular immune response and radiation resistance in breast cancer stem cells
  • Marta Capala, Erasmus MC, Rotterdam NL: Tissue slice models for assessing tumor and healthy tissue response to irradiation
  • Gabriel Adrian, Lund SE: A preclinical spheroid model with a radiobiologically relevant endpoint
  • Wael Yassin Mansour, Hamburg DE: TBA

The annual meeting is open for everyone from all disciplines, and is limited to 40 participants.

The meeting is supported by funding from DCCC, which covers all costs for food and overnight stay, but not travel costs.
