Danish Center for Particle Therapy (DCPT) arranges an opening symposium at Aarhus University Hospital including lectures from both Danish and international experts.
DCPT opens for patient treatment in January 2019. It is the only place in Denmark where patients can have particle therapy – a treatment that irradiates the tumor with protons, which in some cases can be more careful than treatment with high energy x-rays (photons).
