Grant received in 2022

DCCC has funded 200,000 DKK to the project

Precision Medicine is treatment adapted to the individual patient based on genetic information. Presently, patients with treatment refractory cancer is offered comprehensive genomic analysis in order to inform choice of treatment. Due to the complexity in analysing, interpretation and clinical implementation of comprehensive genomic analyses, national collaboration is crusial in order to ensure a common national procedure.

Collaboration with relevant disciplines, bioinformatic analyses, variant interpretation, and clinical implementation, takes part partly though ”Network for harmonization of somatic variant interpretation for treatment purposes for patients with treatment refractory cancer”.

The founding of the network was supported by DCCC in 2018 and is now well established. The aim of the present application is to ensure continued activities within the network.

Multidisciplinary organisation
Anchored in a well-established collaboration center around the National Tumor Board / Genomic MDT as well as it national treatment study ProTarget
