Received grant in 2017

DCCC has funded 100,000 DKK to the project.

Treatment of biliary tract tumors is a highly specialised function and the disease is a serious prognosis with high mortality in spite of therapy. This project will gain understanding for the multidisciplinary treatment of biliary tract cancer and use quantitative methods to increase the knowledge of both oncological and surgical treatment plus the multiple causes that influence the prognosis for patients with the serious disease.

The project will generate knowledge and hypotheses for clinical practice and future studies. The project will be a part of a national survey of patient and treatment factors based on Danish registers.
