Received grant in 2017

DCCC has funded 180,000 DKK to the project.

Treatment of intestine late effects of colorectal cancer is well-established at the clinic of anal physiology, Aarhus University Hospital. Initial diagnosis of patients and therapy led by nurses takes place with well documented and minimally invasive treatment regimes at the highest professional standards and the lowest possible use of resources.

This project will add the expertise of medical investigation and treatment of sexual dysfunction available at the clinic of sexology, Aalborg University Hospital. The combined treatment concept and the specialised competences will be shared to all Danish departments of colorectal surgery through the DCCG (Danish Colorectal Cancer Group).
