Head and neck cancer (HHC) late effects are a complex challenge that involves close collaboration between numbers of professional groups and healthcare professionals.

The purpose of the HHC network is:

  • To strengthen the interprofessional and intersectorial collaboration on long-term rehabilitation and palliation
  • To increase knowledge about the extend of late effects  over time and the impact on the patients and their relatives
  • To develop and test methods for documenting and supporting the work on reducing the consequences of long-term late effects for improving the life quality of cancer patients
