ACROBATIC invites you to the ACROBATIC Research Symposium 2026, taking place on 8–9 June 2026 at Hotel Vejlefjord.

The symposium will focus on how surgical cancer care can be advanced through innovation, implementation, and measurable impact. The programme spans survivorship and organ-specific late effects, AI-driven decision support, and patient-generated health data, bringing together cutting-edge research and real-world clinical perspectives.

Programme highlights include:

  • Survivorship across cancer types - Can follow-up be differentiated, and should patients take a greater role in their own care?
  • Artificial Intelligence in surgical oncology - From cross-regional data sharing to multimodal decision support and AI-based communication.
  • Patient-generated health data - Integration into clinical practice, quality monitoring, and patient expectations.
  • Metastatic disease research - Adaptive radiotherapy, ablative techniques, and surgical innovation.
  • Experimental surgical oncology - Pushing boundaries while balancing survival, symptom relief, and quality of life.
  • Prehabilitation - Reporting standards, implementation strategies, and collaboration across sectors.
