Join an exciting symposium on prehabilitation in practice on 7th April 2025, from 09:00 to 15:15 in Copenhagen.
Prehabilitation is a key focus in the recently proposed Cancer Plan V, and there is an increasing need to strengthen efforts in Denmark. The purpose of this symposium is to update healthcare professionals on the latest research, share practical experiences, and inspire action, as Denmark lags behind other countries in structured prehabilitation.
The programme includes the patient perspective as well as presentations on national and international research findings, the role of artificial intelligence in treatment pathways, and onco-geriatrics. One of the key speakers is Daniel Santa Mina from the University of Toronto, one of the world’s leading researchers in prehabilitation. The symposium is expected to bring together researchers, clinicians across disciplines, and decision-makers from across the country.

The presentations will be in English – the debate will be in Danish.
