The event constitutes one of two workshops addressing the measurement and analysis of socioeconomic positions. Read more about workshop 2 here.
SEPLINE aims to foster knowledge sharing, increase the comparability of research findings, and facilitate research on the impact of socioeconomic factors on the course of cancer.
Inequality in cancer is a high-priority in Danish health policy and clinical initiatives. However, current knowledge about disparities across cancer types and over time is challenged by significant national variations in how socioeconomic position is measured and analyzed. Through two workshops, participants will exchange knowledge and experiences, and develop specific proposals regarding goals for socioeconomic position and methods for analysis. These proposals will undergo pilot testing with data and be synthesized into a national guideline.
