The deadline for abstract submission is 4 April 2025 at 12:00 PM.
We welcome abstracts from all areas within cancer research. Anyone interested in translational and clinical research, across various methodologies, specialties, and disciplines, is encouraged to submit an abstract.
A multidisciplinary review committee assesses all submitted abstracts. Each abstract is reviewed by at least two expert reviewers based on the following criteria:
Relevance to cancer research and generalizability
Results and scientific quality
Project perspectives, novelty, and national significance
Additionally, seven promising early-career researchers will be selected to present their research on stage during the conference.
Abstracts and posters can be written and presented in either Danish or English.
Only one main author can be listed. It is a requirement that the main author is present at the conference.
All applicants will receive a response no later than 16 May 2025. If your abstract is selected as one of the seven for an on-stage presentation, you will receive a separate notification.
You must be able to attend the Danish Cancer Research Days 2025 on 28-29 August.
If your abstract is accepted, you must register for the Danish Cancer Research Days.
Accepted abstracts must be turned into a poster, which must be available for viewing on both conference days. During the poster session, you will be expected to present your research orally.
Pay close attention to titles, spelling, and formatting when submitting your abstract, as it will be included in the abstract book distributed to all conference attendees.
