National Center for Cancer Immune Therapy (CCIT-DK)

Professor Inge Marie Svane is responsible for the clinical studies, specializing in malignant melanoma, and supervises Master's students, PhD students, and postdocs.

Professor Per thor Straten is responsible for several preclinical studies in tumor immunology and supervises both MSc and PhD students within his field.

Professor Mads Hald Andersen is responsible for preclinical and translational research projects characterising the natural immune response against malignant cells. He has founded several biotech companies, including IO Biotech ApS, and supervises Master's students, PhD students, and postdocs.

CCIT-DK has approximately 70 employees, including researchers, technical staff, and Master's students. The researchers and Master's students come from a number of different countries, both inside and outside of the European Union. CCIT-DK has a GMP certified laboratory for the preparation of therapeutic immunological cellular products for cell-based cancer immune therapy.
