DCCC has funded 100,000 DKK to the project.
Sarcoma is a rare disease, which makes sarcoma research a challenging task. The purpose of establishing a national sarcoma network is to:
• arrange national research seminars to present and discuss the most important international and national projects, technological developments and results within sarcoma research
• harmonise research- and financial activities in the different centers
• create new comprehensive multidisciplinary research projects
• devise a national sarcoma research strategy for the following years
• collaborate with basic research groups
