Implementation of clinical cancer guidelines – from paper to patient
Received grant in 2019
DCCC has funded 198,000 DKK to the project.
Clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) support evidence-based practice. However, they only have effect if implemented. In Denmark, a special effort is carried out by the multidisciplinary cancer groups (DMCG.dk) to develop and harmonise clinical cancer guidelines - so far without a separate focus on implementation. As a basis for a focused effort to understand compliance with CPGs, we will conduct a project in three parts:
- Analysis of current CPG implementation practices
- Seminar on CPG implementation
- Knowledge dissemination
