Multidisciplinary Team Conferences in cancer care: Consistency in treatment recommendations in Ovarian Cancer
Received grant in 2019
DCCC has funded 140,808 DKK to the project.
The project Multidisciplinary Team Conferences in cancer care: Consistency in Treatment recommendations in Ovarian Cancer will initiate a national multidisciplinary study in cooperation with and by request of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Committee under the Danish Multidisciplinary Cancer Groups (DMCG). The study will investigate the workflows and the quality and coherence of the decisionmaking at the MDT conferences for advanced ovarian cancer. This study is highly relevant as a recent study in pancreascancer shows incoherence, discrepancies and disagreement in treatment choice and surgical suitability in up to 50% of advanced cases.
