DCCC is thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the Translational Cancer Research Conference – an inspiring event that brings together researchers from both basic and clinical cancer research to strengthen the link between laboratory and clinic.

The conference will take place on 25 February 2026 at the Danish Architecture Centre in Copenhagen, where researchers and clinicians will exchange knowledge and present new findings.

The focus of the conference will be on integrating basic and clinical cancer research and to highlight local initiatives within the area of translational cancer research. The conference offers a unique opportunity to interact with a vibrant community of scientists across basic and clinical disciplines, and to participate in insightful and engaging discussions.

Programme and focus areas

The programme includes presentations from leading international experts. Key themes of the preliminary programme include:

  • Integration of basic and clinical cancer research
  • How to organize cancer research and bridging the gaps -
    a continuum from research discoveries to clinical application
  • Leading basic and translational cancer research

Call for Abstracts

We invite all interested researchers to submit abstracts or research projects or other research activities within the area of translational cancer research.

Abstracts will be considered for either 10-minute presentations or 4-minute speed talks. They must be submitted to dccc.info@dccc.dk no later than 26 November 2025. Read more about the formal requirements for the Call for Abstracts on the DCCC website.
