DCCC Radiotherapy invites clinicians, medical physicists and researchers within the radiotherapy field to their annual national meeting. The meeting takes place on November 18-19, 2024, at the Milling Hotel Park in Middelfart. Registration deadline: October 10, 2024.

The future cancer screening programmes invites to a network meeting on November 14-15, 2024. The meeting will take place in Odense and aims to outline and discuss the future of cancer screening. The meeting will be conducted in English. Registration deadline: 1st of October 2024.

Scandinavian Network for Radiobiology Researchers invites to their annual network meeting on October 31st - November 1st 2024. The meeting will be held in Middelfart and will be conducted in English. Registration deadline: September 22nd 2024

Multidisciplinary Network for Focal Therapy of Prostate Cancer invites to their 4th network seminar at ARos Art Museum in Aarhus on May 29-30 2024. The target group for participation is physicists, oncologists, urologists, pathologists, radiologists, and specialists in nuclear medicine with interest within prostate cancer. Registration deadline: 2nd of April 2024.

Danish Network of Radiobiology Researchers' annual network meeting 2023 will take palce on November 13th - 14th at Comwell HC Andersen Odense/ODEON in Odense. The program of the annual network meeting will be centered around the current ongoing research. Registration deadline: 2nd of October 2023.

The Acta Oncologica Biology-Guided Adaptive Radiotherapy conference BiGART 2023 takes place on June 20-21 in Aarhus. The conference is open for physicians, physicists, radiobiologists and other scientists with an active interest in these areas. The format includes invited presentations, proffered papers and discussion rounds. Abstract submission from key topics are welcome. Be aware of registration deadlines.

On June 19, the day before BiGART 2023 kicks off, the Danish Centre for Particle Therapy hosts a full-day scientific symposium, at the centre in Aarhus, that features: Insight in ongoing translational and clinical research, discussions of Nordic collaborative potentials, tour of DCPT incl. 'meet and greet', and a reception. 

The Training Network for Optimizing Adoptive T cell Therapy of Cancer (T-OP), the Danish CAR-T cell Network (DCTN), and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) invite you to a symposium on June 6-7 in the Oticonsalen at DTU. The program consists of a series of exciting presentations on the latest research in the field, flash talks, and poster sessions. Registration deadline May 1, 2023 

The day will specifically focus on initiatives and interventions that purposefully try to reduce inequality in the area of ​​cancer in the places where we already know that it occurs. In addition, the day will also provide an insight into the research and the already identified causal mechanisms for inequality in the course of cancer. Registration deadline: May 1st 2023.

Admission for the PhD-Course: The Biology and characteristic of circulating cell free DNA and circulating tumor DNA in health and disease, is now open. It takes place on May 22-23, 2023, at Sandbjerg Gods, Denmark. The module will provide the audience with a fundamental understanding of the biology of cell free and circulating tumor DNA and how working with these opens new possibilities in research and the clinic. What is Bio-and Genome Bank Denmark, and how can you as a researcher use the material and data? Join the online seminar on 11 May 2023 at 15:00-16:30. Registration deadline: 10 May 2023.

The purpose of this workshop on 2-3 May 2023, in Middelfart, is to meet in an interdisciplinary forum and explore differences in dose accumulation for re-irradiation and for plan adaptation between Danish hospitals and to discuss best practices. 

The DCCC ctDNA Research Center works for more national collaboration, breaking down barriers, and start new trials on ctDNA guided cancer treatment. One way is to provide funds for clinical projects and methological studies under the center. Apply before: March 24, 2023, at 23:59.

Immunonet is hosting a national symposium on March 3rd from 9:30am to 8:00pm at Aarhus University. The topic of the event is preclinical models in cancer research. The program consists of a series of presentations on the latest research, flash talks, and a poster session. Registration deadline: February 6th.

DCCC Danish Research Centre for circulating tumor DNA guided treatment invites to a series of seminars. The first is about digital PCR data handling and takes place online on January 25th, 2023. The semiar will introduce basic data handling of dPCR data and via practical exercises guide participants through the steps of correcting for noise in dPCR data. Finally, the semiar will showcase examples of how substandard data handling can lead to problematic study results. Registration deadline: 20th of January, 2023.

On the 17th of January 2023, at 16:00-18:20, DCCC & Danish National Centre for Lung Cancer Research, supported by Danish Cancer Society, will hold an exciting lecture at eye level about lung cancer, both online and on site. Researchers and clinicians from the Danish National Centre for Lung Cancer Research will give an insight into the disease and the current research in the area through a series of presentations. In addition, there will also be a patient story with insights on the quality of life that is achieved despite the disease. Everyone is welcome, both patients, relatives, professionals and other interested in the area.

From December 8-9, Danish Center for Cancer Surgery (ACROBATIC) is holding a meeting for CFA2 - "Surgical Techniques and Innovation" in Horsens. The meeting will focus on reusability of methods, experimental cancer surgery as well as robotic surgery, data-banks and traning centers. Registration deadline November 8, 2022 

DCCC Radiotherapy – The Danish National Research Center - invites to an AI-workshop on December, 6. - 7., 2022, in Fredericia. The workshop will cover: Share knowledge on AI projects in Denmark, setup collaborations within AI in Radiotherapy, as well as discussions and coordination on how to share AI models across Denmark. The national forum for radiotherapy research in Denmark, DCCC Radiotherapy, invites you to the Annual Scientific Meeting 2022 from November 22nd to November 23rd. This event is a great opportunity to meet researchers, clinicians and students from all over the country to discuss projects and collaborations and get an overview of all the activities in Danish radiotherapy research. DCCC Danish Research Centre for circulating tumor DNA guided treatment's annual meeting 2022 will take place on November 14-15 at HUONE, Copenhagen, Denmark. On November 14, an international symposium with talks will regard updates on ctDNA research internationally. On November 15, the center annual meeting and steering group meeting will take place. DCCC Danish Center for Targeted treatment of Primary Brain Tumors invites to an annual meeting at Aros Art Museum in Aarhus on October 1, at 09:00-19:00.

The purpose of the seminar is to focus on how far the research on late effects has come, how knowledge can be implemented in the health care system, what the status is for late effects for patients, and where the development of late effects for patients points. It is held on September 28, 2022, at 09:00-17:00, at Hindsgavl Slot, Middelfart, Denmark.

The European Cancer Survivorship and Rehabilitation Symposium (ECRS) 2022 will take place in 26 and 27 September 2022. ECRS 2022 hopefully attracts a diverse group of participants, working with cancer reabilitation and survivorship - no matter if you work in the local community, the hospital sector, administration, advocacy or research.

The ctDNA Centre funds clinical projects and methological studies under the center with up to 500.000DKK per project. Funding applications may be handed in twice a year. The next deadline is September 26, 2022. 

The DCCC project 'The Danish Working Group for MR-Linac based Radiotherapy' and Danish Society for Medical Physics (DSMF) invite to symposium at Comwell H.C. Andersen in Odense. The symposium will take place over three days, from September 12th to 14th 2022. Registration deadline: 1. july 2022.

Danish Cancer Research Days 2022 returns on 25 - 26th of August 2022 at Comwell Kolding, Denmark. A close national collaboration within the field of cancer is an important foundation for a continued and consistent quality improvement in research and treatment across cancer specialities and diseases. Danish Multidisciplinary Cancer Groups (DMCG.dk) and Danish Comprehensive Cancer Center host the largest cancer conference in Denmark with the aim of strengthening the national collaboration across the field of cancer.

Join us for an afternoon of short popular science lectures for patients with blood cancer and relatives on June 22, 2022, at 16:00. With presentations that focus on the recipients and have room for questions, we provide insight into how we in Denmark work to improve diagnostics and treatment for the various blood cancer diseases. On May 19th - 20th, 2022, DCCC Timely Detection holds a network meeting at Kokkedal Castle, Hørsholm, with the subject "Measurement and Communication of Risk". The meeting will be an inspirational meeting that, in addition to raising awareness of risk measurement and communication, will also clarify whether there is a basis for preparing a later working meeting that will put risk measurement and communication on the agenda for foundations and decision-makers in the Danish health care system.

On May 19th 2022, the DCCC supported network IMMUNONET invites all interested to the first Danish CAR-T cell symposium. The symposium will take place at the Technical University of Denmark, Anker Engelundsvej 101, 2800 Lyngby. There will be both national and international speakers.

The largest European conference for radiotherapy, the ESTRO conference, is coming to Denmark. The theme of this year's conference is 'Learning from every patient'. Before, during and after ESTRO2022, which will be held in Bella Center in Copenhagen on May 6-10, DCCC Radiotherapy together with DCCC and Danish Cancer Society arrange open lectures for all interested - partly online and partly on an open stage in Bella Center, respectively on April 29 at 16:00-17:00, May 7-9 at 15:00-17:00 & May 17 at 16:15-17:15. Participation is free and there is no registration.

You are invited to the 30^th meeting in the Scandinavian Society for Head and Neck Oncology, SSHNO2022, March 24-26^th in Aarhus, Denmark. The meeting will offer you up-to-date information on many aspects of head and neck cancer and relate it into the daily practice in the Nordic countries.

The ctDNA Center Annual Meeting will take place on 22-23 November 2021 in Odense. We will have two days of talks, discussions and networking. To give most of you the opportunity to present you study, results, or cool methods, we will have both regular talks, posters and flash talks. 

The first IMACC is held in Aarhus on November 11-12, 2021. The aim of the conference is to bring together clinicians, researchers and multidisciplinary groups involved in anal cancer treatment for research and development. 

4th meeting in DCCC National Research Network on Nutrition in Cancer (NARNUCA) takes place on November, 2, 2021. NB: This event is in Danish

BiGART2021 will be a virtual conference for international and Danish physicians, physicists, radiobiologists and other scientists with an active interest in the area. The conference will consist of four sessions with invited speakers and presentations selected from submitted abstracts.

Day 1 of the annual meeting is dedicated to DCCC Radiotherapy related sessions, including networking, updates from the work groups and Flash Talks. The Flash Talk session is an opportunity for younger researchers to present their projects and results. Day 2 is combined with the BiGART2021 conference, which is a virtual conference.

The largest cancer conference in Denmark returns on the 26th & 27th of August 2021

This will be an online event and give you a chance to discuss the national infrastructure and how you can contribute and benefit from their work. The event will take the place for the official opening as we are still not able to meet in person.

The new Danish National research centre for childhood cancer (CONTROL) marks the centre opening with a kick-off-meeting. 

The aim of this founding meeting is take the first steps towards a thriving network. It is organized to get acquainted with each other through short presentations of your work. This will hopefully open for discussions about what interests and opportunities the network holds.

The Nordic Anal Cancer Network invites international collaborators for a research webinar November 5, 2020. 

Automatic target and normal tissue delineation has a considerable importance in cancer radiotherapy treatments. DCCC Radiotherapy work package 5 invites to a workshop on delineation of lymph nodal stations for head and neck cancer. Far too many patients die from lung cancer. The Danish Cancer Society Research Center and the Guidepost Team "One Step Ahead of Cancer" arrange a workshop to share knowledge, initiate collaborations and discuss research priorities with the aim to decrease the number of deaths from from lung cancer.

Danish Center for Particle Therapy (DCPT) arranges an opening symposium at Aarhus University Hospital including lectures from both Danish and international experts. The symposium will take place on May 21, 2019. 

DMCG and DCCC invite to a web conference on contouring Atlas including a lecture from Sydney, Australia.
